About the Founder
Lumi Ciobanu is a passionate accessibility-focused web designer with over 9 years of WordPress experience.
She collaborates with agencies as web designer & web developer, taking a proactive approach to finding optimal solutions as a reliable long-term partner.
Her portfolio includes designing and redesigning various websites for business owners or education institutes, managing everything from strategy and project planning to design and development.
She is actively involved in the WordPress community, participating in WordCamps and Meetups as a volunteer, organizer, or attendee.

Lumi’s story with accessibility
For many years, accessibility wasn’t a priority in my work until I attended a presentation by a blind person about their experience navigating the web and daily life. Their perspective transformed my understanding and drew me into the world of web accessibility. Also, as I’ve developed low vision with age, I’ve come to understand how important it is to create inclusive digital experiences.
In each project I’m involved in, I work with accessibility in mind from planning to launching and maintenance, not just as a simple add-on.
As an IAAP Member and CPACC, I regularly attend accessibility-focused meetups, courses, and events. I now advocate for accessible web design through public speaking, sharing my journey to inspire others in our industry to prioritise inclusivity.
